Invicta Water Begins Drinking Water Project for PFAS & 1,4-dioxane Treatment with Town of Pittsboro, NC

Invicta Water is proud to announce its PFAS & 1,4-dioxane treatment project in conjunction with the Town of Pittsboro, North Carolina. The project is a 35,000 gallon per day pilot at the Town’s Water Treatment Plant, targeting the removal and destruction of these contaminants in situ in drinking water. The project will run for 90 days, and will provide the Town with data for decision making on future contaminant treatment solutions.

Invicta Water will manage the pilot in conjunction with Carolina Civil Works and the Town of Pittsboro.

In its Memorandum requesting approval for the project, the Town commented that “this type of advanced treatment is also more sustainable, uses less energy than other solutions, and does not require filter/media replacement or management of concentrated waste streams.
