Invicta Water’s treatment solutions end the PFAS cycle by breaking the strong bonds that create these chemicals in situ. We do so in a low cost, low energy process that destroys the compounds in a continuous flow at ambient pressure and temperature. Our solution can end the PFAS cycle for long and short chain PFAS, in any concentration, and at any water volume.
Influent (water) is processed through Invicta Water’s (patent pending) Foam Fractionation System where small bubbles grab pollutants. Typically, the type of organic contaminants that we deal with have a hydrophilic and a hydrophobic end. The hydrophobic end of the contaminant sticks to the air bubble. Foam is created containing the contaminants, and is floated to the upper level of the fractionators. Contaminants are now separated from the clean water flow.
Once the contaminates are removed, they progress to the Destruction phase of the system. The destruction occurs via a Photocatalytic Destruction process that uses cutting-edge materials technology combined with UV light to destroy PFAS in-situ.
- GAC only removes PFAS from water supplies. Once contaminated with PFAS, GAC becomes a new toxic waste stream that must be properly disposed of,
- GAC systems require a large capital investment,
- GAC systems utilize a large amount of real estate, and
- GAC systems incur high annual operating expenses.
Additionally, the Invicta Water process is considerably less expensive to install and operate.

Case Studies
PFAS Destruction in Drinking Water
Invicta Water sourced water directly from the tap in Burlington, North Carolina. The water is found to be contaminated with ~30 ppt total PFAS, including 10-14 ppt PFOA and PFOS, the EPA’s two recently designated hazardous substances.
PFAS Destruction on Industrial Site
Invicta Water was provided sample of the process water from a Pulp and Paper Mill in the tissue market. As with other current industrial projects, Invicta Water received and treated the water without knowledge of PFAS types or ability to optimize the removal or destruction process.
