Our Technology

Invicta Water improves foam fractionation technologies to efficiently remove PFAS from water. We then combine our proprietary, cutting-edge materials technology with UV light to destroy PFAS and other contaminants in situ under ambient temperature and pressure. This is all done using customizable and scalable modular systems.

Our innovative and proprietary process results in the permanent destruction of PFAS - both long- and short chain- at any concentration. Our solutions eliminate these chemicals in situ and leave nothing behind.

We send samples to certified laboratories that utilize ASTM 1633 and ASTM D8421/EPA8327 to validate results and ensure that the testing is reliable and meets established standards.

Our Technology

The 3 Stages

Stripping

Using innovations in foam fractionation, influent is separated into two streams: a Waste Stream and a Clean Stream. All PFAS contaminants are captured and isolated in the Waste Stream, while the Clean Stream, now free of contaminants, is discharged back into the water supply.

Enrichment

With the PFAS completely removed from the clean water supply, the water volume in the contaminated Waste Stream is considerably reduced, preparing the PFAS for the final stage of destruction. For example, a continuous flow of 1 million gallons per day (MGD) is condensed into just one gallon of highly concentrated contaminated water, now optimally prepared for efficient and thorough destruction.

Destruction

In the final stage, Invicta Water employs photocatalysis using its cutting-edge materials and UV light to break the strong PFAS bonds, such as the carbon-fluorine bond. This eliminates PFAS in situ, effectively ending the PFAS cycle. Importantly, Invicta Water’s solution leaves behind no toxic or harmful byproducts.
