Active Project - Drinking Water - Town of Pittsboro, NC
Invicta Water is currently targeting the removal and destruction of PFAS and 1,4-Dioxane at the Town of Pittsboro’s water treatment plant in a 35,000 gallon per day project.
In its memorandum regarding the approval of the pilot, the Town of Pittsboro specifically chose Invicta Water because of the cost, energy, and sustainability savings for Town’s water treatment facility.
Specifically, the Town stated, “This type of advanced treatment is also more sustainable, uses less energy than other solutions, and does not require filter/media replacement or management of concentrated waste streams.”
