The 3-Stage Process for PFAS Elimination

Stripping

Stripping

Using improved foam fractionation processes, PFAS are successfully stripped from a continuous flow of water.

Enrichment

Enrichment

Once stripped and isolated from the water supply, PFAS are then separately enriched in a reduced volume of water and prepared for destruction.

PFAS

What are PFAS?

PFAS are per-and polyfluoroalkyl synthetic chemicals that have been used in industrial and consumer products since the 1940s. These chemicals are referred to as “forever chemicals” because the bonds that create the chemicals are so strong, they do not degrade or break down over time.

PFAS are uniquely widespread and found in products like nonstick cookware, food packaging, water-repellent clothing, stain-resistant fabrics, carpets, cosmetics, firefighting foams, and many more. They have been found globally in the environment (air, water, soil) and living organisms (fish, wildlife, and the human body).

Scientific studies have shown how PFAS exposure can result in substantially adverse health outcomes. Regulation, liability, and health concerns are driving implementation of new treatment systems to mitigate PFAS. Our innovative approach eliminates toxic forever chemicals in an inexpensive, environmentally friendly, and scalable solution.
